EURING General Assembly
24-25 August 2005, Strasbourg, France

Invited by the Ligue pour la protection des oiseaux (LPO), the Société d'études ornithologiques de France (SEOF) and the Office national de la chasse et de la faune sauvage (ONCFS) the 5th Conference of the European Ornithologists' Union was held 19 - 23 August 2005 in Strasbourg (see http://www.eou.at). Following the decision of the general assembly in Chemnitz, and thanks to the invitation of the colleagues from the Paris Ringing Centre, the EURING General Assembly met after the EOU congress at the same location.
